OXYGEN INSURANCE BROKERS

ACQUIRES TECHNOLOGY PORTFOLIO

 

 London, 17th January 2008– Oxygen Insurance Brokers (Oxygen) announced today the acquisition of a portfolio of specialist technology and new media Professional Indemnity business from Digital Risk Solutions Ltd (DRS).

 

DRS provide broking and risk management services primarily to software gaming companies and mobile media content providers. The portfolio acquisition is an important strategic move in positioning Oxygen as a leading broker to businesses in this growing market.

 

With immediate effect, all DRS clients will move to Oxygen where they will be serviced by the Professional Risks team.  Graeme Newman, managing director, DRS, said, “We are delighted to agree this deal with Oxygen.  They share our business ethic of high service levels, niche focus and entrepreneurial spirit.  Consequently, we are confident that our clients will continue to receive the quality advice and service they have come to expect from DRS.”
